The Office is responsible for managing the capital structure of the University and providing cost effective solutions for the financing of capital projects on a short-term and long-term basis. The Office manages the issuance of taxable and tax-exempt bonds, commercial paper, and bank credit facilities, and has primary responsibility for tax-exempt debt compliance. The office also manages and administers the internal loan portfolio.
The Office is also responsible for relationships with credit rating agencies and with the investment banks.
